FAFA HELPS OUT AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE IN PAKISTAN

This major earthquake in Pakistan happen on 8 October 2005. The death toll is huge and the world was slow to respond. So far the estimated death toll is 86,000.

FAFA personnel provided on the ground medical expertise in the first 60 days of the quake. Even now after shocks are an ongoing occurrence. For example

The hardest hit areas are in the mountains and one of the biggest threats to come will be from the extreme cold of winter. Snow is predicted to arrive soon, sometime around the second week of December.

The people have gone back to work as quickly as possible. In this picture you see that the back and the front of the building no longer exist, however business must go on. (Top)
