TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

1. Will the program run on my computer?
Generally First Aid For All Lay Rescuer - CPR will run on any machine which has been purchased in the last 4 or 5 years. Technically your computer must be a PC with at least a Pentium II 500, a CD ROM drive and an Internet connection. It will run on Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME and XP. (Top)

2. Can I test my machine?
Yes. If you have purchased a First Aid For All CD ROM and you are not certain whether your machine is fast enough to run all of the activities, you can run a test so the software can evaluate whether your computer can run every activity at the required speed. When you are at the Main Screen, there is an icon at the lower left side. Press this button and wait for the program to run a simulation. When it has completed the simulation it will tell you whether it was able to run successfully or not. (Top)

3. What happens if my computer will not run First Aid For All?
If First Aid For All does not run on your machine, we will refund the cost of the CD ROM. Contact us via email, and we will instruct you as to what to do.

4. Do I need to be logged onto the Internet all the time I use the First Aid For All CD ROM?
You need to log on twice for a short period of time when you register and when you have completed the assessment. This should be about 2 minutes each time. (Top)

5. Do I need to have a broad band connection to use First Aid For All?
You must use an existing Internet connection. This can be a dial up or broad band or any other type of Internet connection. (Top)
